Daily Journal December 7, 1998, By-William Thomas Thompson. Pearl Harbor attack, the day that will live in infamy! A terrible crime was committed on this day in 1941 by the Japanese military government who had captured all of Southeast Asia during the 1930's and wanted more like the devil does in human nature. A heathen people with an infamous attitude toward the world, outrageous in crimes already against nations, burying Chinese people alive and brutalizing their own people as they did others. A committed nation of people to their own destruction. My studies of the holocaust and art paintings of the war in Europe were surely meant to be. My look now at the dual world war we fought in both seas that took a miracle to defeat and we made the difference. The next war will be a much different war than has ever been fought before and we need the armor of God against the forces of Hell. The rise and fall of Japan after the war is an amazing thing. How could a rise be so fast and how could they fall as flat as they suddenly are? The Japanese sailed their carriers 4,000 miles east to launch this attack on our pacific fleet at Honolulu and was very successful in winning that surprise battle but lost the war. Their general said we have awakened a sleeping giant, he said this as the planes landed back from the attack. This statement said it all. The Japanese occupied every island on the West half of the Pacific Ocean and each one we took back with heavy losses to our young fighting men. Every island has blood on its soil and the ocean is a grave yard for a million men from a 4 year battle. The Japanese were so committed to winning that they like the Arabs today would fly into ships loaded with explosives and sink them like crazy. The awful loss of Japanese soldiers must have been many times more than of American troops. What a price Japan paid for their aggression on that part of the world. The foolishness of war. The bitter end to so many American lives lost at such a high cost made a void in so many homes of loving families with boys that never came back. "He that lives by the sword dies by the sword" Revelation 13-10. The small islands of Japan like the outer banks of the China coast is home for 100,000,000 Japanese people who have always lived separate and independent from the world and have never had any natural oil on their land. They buy their oil and refine it there. A disadvantage in their rise to power in the 30's militarily and in the post war period. Their secret fall has now surfaced with lots of their losses hidden as the Japanese would do. Mita Copy Machine Company here in Greenville has filed bankruptcy revealing a 7 year secret loss of $1 billion. The Japanese decided to buy the world and especially in Hawaii and the American mainland borrowing insanely from their banks and even investing in art heavy with lots of the money even reaching here like paying $45 million for the Wyatt collection from the county art Museum owned by Holly and Arthur Mcg-ill. The city of Hiroshima near Kobe, Japan was targeted for testing the first A-bomb and Nagasaki on the island of Kitakyushu both in South West Japan and producing war materials were destroyed tot-ally by the bomb with a mushroom cloud that melted flesh off bones and left nothing standing. This is the price of greed and aggression for the poor innocent to pay. This was the beginning of this nuclear age of destruction that we shall see destroy the earth. I pray for mercy from God. Repent and be saved. It is out of hand.
